Ride to Kanyam

Kanyam is a town and Village Development Committee in Ilam District in the Mechi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal cense, it had a population of 5,940 persons living in 1054 individual households. Kanyam is popular for its lush-green tea gardens. It is also a popular picnic destination. On the way to Ilam Bazaar, Kanyam and Fikkal have large tea estates that have made Ilam famous for more than a hundred years. These tea gardens are popular among tourists for picnicking, sightseeing and photography. Fikkal is a business center in eastern Ilam and lies on the Mechi Highway leading to Ilam.

Drive to Hillside

I discovered Kanyam by accident. I had heard of Ilam's beauty. However, I had zero knowledge of this district and the places I must visit. I was supposed to go to Budhabare to visit my friend house, at that time my friends told me to have some ride to hillside after driving way to Kanyam road we stop our bike at Harkate road having some launch and we talk about the Kanyam, my friend salon told me Kanaym hill is great and he said it will be great to visit there and spending moment there. I told them lets' go have some great journey with you guys lets make our day today. After many moments later travel by road its' weather change suddenly it was so cold due to we are traveling through the hillside.

Reached to Harkate

The road was great and we had a safe drive after we reached Kanyam. When I reached there I feel the weather it was so nice So, the plan was to stay somewhere in Kanyam where I could do some exploring but we can't stay we had to travel back home to Budhabare. Watching the hill covered with Tea Garden I felt wow what a great scenery. We drink a hot Tea and sat there and watching the people enjoying their picnic and taking a photo in selfie-dadha. There was a horse riding my friend salon took some photo with the horse.

      Later we went uphill to selfie dadha and we took a group photo. At that time we capture so many pictures and it was fun and great to capture our memory.

 We just went down to this tea farm, it was so romantic couldn't leave that place and capture whatever I saw at that moment. After enjoying some moment then we travel back home while traveling back we discuss next holiday weekend we will travel to this place again.
